Today, we will take a 3-hour drive to one of Mongolia’s most iconic natural reserves: Khustai National Park, located in the steppe.
Khustai Park and the Przewalski Horses – This park is famous for conserving Przewalski horses (Takhis), the last wild horses in Asia.
Once nearly extinct, they have now been successfully reintroduced and protected in this natural habitat.
You will have the rare opportunity to observe them in the wild, a fascinating experience for nature and animal lovers.
Arrival at Ganchuluun’s family – At the end of the day, we will continue our adventure to Ganchuluun’s nomadic family, who lives with his wife Siylegmaa and their two children.
Together, they raise over 1,000 animals including sheep, goats, yaks, and horses.
Immersion at Ganchuluun’s home – Upon arrival, you will be invited to discover authentic nomadic life. You may help feed animals, milk cows, or learn herd-management techniques.
Traditional evening in the yurt – We will spend the night in the yurt, enjoying a warm dinner with traditional Mongolian dishes accompanied by stories and legends told by the host family.
This day will offer a true immersion into nomadic life, allowing you to fully experience Mongolia close to nature and local traditions.
