Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu, meet your trekking guide, and have a trip briefing.

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,652m)

Early morning flight to Lukla. Begin trekking towards Phakding.

Day 3 : Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Continue trekking along the Dudh Koshi River. Cross suspension bridges and ascend to Namche Bazaar.

Day 4 : Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

Acclimatization hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung Village. Explore Namche Bazaar, its market, and monasteries.

Day 5 : Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m)

Descend to the Dudh Koshi River and ascend through forests. Reach Tengboche with its famous monastery.

Day 6 : Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m)

Descend through forests and cross the Imja Khola. Trek through Pangboche village and reach Dingboche.

Day 7 : Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Acclimatization hike to Nangkartshang Peak for panoramic views. Rest and prepare for higher altitudes.

Day 8 : Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m)

Trek through Dughla and witness memorials for climbers. Ascend to Lobuche village.

Day 9 : Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m), Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m)

Trek to Gorak Shep. Continue to Everest Base Camp.

Day 10 : Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m), Descend to Pheriche (4,371m)

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise views. Descend to Pheriche.

Day 11 : Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Descend through Pangboche and Tengboche. Continue to Namche Bazaar.

Day 12 : Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Descend through forests and cross suspension bridges. Arrive in Lukla, reflecting on your journey.

Day 13 : Lukla to Kathmandu

Morning flight back to Kathmandu. Rest and relax or explore the city.

Day 14 : Departure from Kathmandu

Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing before heading to the airport.

What is Everest Base Camp (EBC)?

Everest Base Camp is the starting point for climbers attempting to summit Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. It is located at an altitude of approximately 5,364 meters (17,598 feet) above sea level in the Khumbu region of Nepal.

How do I get to Everest Base Camp?

The most common way to reach Everest Base Camp is by trekking from Lukla, a small mountain airstrip in Nepal. You can take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and start your trek from there. The trek usually takes around 12-14 days round trip.

Do I need previous trekking experience to reach EBC?

While previous trekking experience can be helpful, it is not mandatory. The Everest Base Camp trek is challenging but can be undertaken by anyone with a good level of fitness and a strong determination to complete the journey.

When is the best time to trek to Everest Base Camp?

The best time for the Everest Base Camp trek is during the pre-monsoon (spring) season (March to May) and post-monsoon (autumn) season (September to November). During these months, the weather is relatively stable, and the skies are clear, providing breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

We'll have a short welcome briefing so you can meet your fellow travelers and get all the details about the exciting days ahead. Rest up and get ready for an amazing journey!

    March 2 - Exploring Delhi’s Rich Heritage

    After breakfast, we dive into the bustling charm of Delhi. Experience the contrast of Old and New Delhi as we visit iconic landmarks:

    • Jama Masjid – One of the largest mosques in India, followed by a fun rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk.
    • Bangla Sahib Gurudwara – Witness the kindness of the largest community kitchen in India, where meals are prepared and served to thousands daily.
    • Akshardham Temple – A breathtaking Hindu temple known for its intricate architecture and serene atmosphere.

    After sightseeing, we’ll engage in an Indian cooking class where you'll learn to make delicious traditional dishes. Enjoy the meal you prepare, then head back to your hotel to relax.

    March 6- Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

    We check out and head to Agra, making a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning Mughal architecture and historical significance. Arrive in Agra, check in at the hotel, and relax.

    March 7 - The Taj Mahal & Return to Delhi

    An early morning start to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise – a truly magical and breathtaking experience. After breakfast, visit the Agra Fort, another UNESCO site that was once home to Mughal emperors.

    Later, we head back to Delhi. After checking in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure for last-minute shopping or relaxation.

    March 8 - Farewell, India!

    Enjoy a leisurely morning before your departure. Depending on your flight schedule, our team will assist with your transfer to the airport. Depart with incredible memories, new friendships, and colorful stories to share!
