Morning dedicated to the country’s history. Visit the Dubai Frame. This golden frame-shaped building will transport you from the past to the future. You’ll start with projections of ancient Bedouin life before ascending 150 meters to admire both sides of the city. On the descent, you’ll view a video showcasing Dubai’s futuristic projects.
Next, we’ll visit Bastakiya, the city’s historic district with its 100 years old houses and wind towers.
We’ll visit an old house where we’ll have Arabic coffee, as hospitality is a fundamental tradition. Then, we’ll stop to learn about spice history and taste hibiscus tea.
Afterward, we’ll pass by Al Fahidi Fort, Dubai’s first construction in 1787, to discover the Hindu temple and the Indian souk.
We’ll cross the Creek with an abra, the only means of transportation between the two banks before 1963. In the spice souk, we’ll taste dates, chocolate, and learn some traditions, then we’ll admire the showcases of the gold souk with its most impressive jewelry.
Free lunch in a local restaurant and time for shopping. An abaya, traditional dress will be offered to each lady, you will just choose your favourite color !
In the afternoon, we’ll drive to Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping mall with its 1200 shops where you’ll find the entrance to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower at 828 meters.
You’ll have access to the observation deck on the 124th floor of the tower and enjoy a unique view of the sunset over Dubai.
You’ll have the opportunity to admire the show of the dancing fountains.
