Day by day:

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu, meet your trekking guide, and have a trip briefing.

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,652m)

Early morning flight to Lukla. Begin trekking towards Phakding.

Day 3 : Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

Continue trekking along the Dudh Koshi River. Cross suspension bridges and ascend to Namche Bazaar.

Day 4 : Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

Acclimatization hike to Everest View Hotel or Khumjung Village. Explore Namche Bazaar, its market, and monasteries.

Day 5 : Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m)

Descend to the Dudh Koshi River and ascend through forests. Reach Tengboche with its famous monastery.

Day 6 : Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m)

Descend through forests and cross the Imja Khola. Trek through Pangboche village and reach Dingboche.

Day 7 : Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

Acclimatization hike to Nangkartshang Peak for panoramic views. Rest and prepare for higher altitudes.

Day 8 : Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m)

Trek through Dughla and witness memorials for climbers. Ascend to Lobuche village.

Day 9 : Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m), Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m)

Trek to Gorak Shep. Continue to Everest Base Camp.

Day 10 : Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m), Descend to Pheriche (4,371m)

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise views. Descend to Pheriche.

Day 11 : Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Descend through Pangboche and Tengboche. Continue to Namche Bazaar.

Day 12 : Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Descend through forests and cross suspension bridges. Arrive in Lukla, reflecting on your journey.

Day 13 : Lukla to Kathmandu

Morning flight back to Kathmandu. Rest and relax or explore the city.

Day 14 : Departure from Kathmandu

Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing before heading to the airport.

What is Everest Base Camp (EBC)?

Everest Base Camp is the starting point for climbers attempting to summit Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. It is located at an altitude of approximately 5,364 meters (17,598 feet) above sea level in the Khumbu region of Nepal.

How do I get to Everest Base Camp?

The most common way to reach Everest Base Camp is by trekking from Lukla, a small mountain airstrip in Nepal. You can take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and start your trek from there. The trek usually takes around 12-14 days round trip.

Do I need previous trekking experience to reach EBC?

While previous trekking experience can be helpful, it is not mandatory. The Everest Base Camp trek is challenging but can be undertaken by anyone with a good level of fitness and a strong determination to complete the journey.

When is the best time to trek to Everest Base Camp?

The best time for the Everest Base Camp trek is during the pre-monsoon (spring) season (March to May) and post-monsoon (autumn) season (September to November). During these months, the weather is relatively stable, and the skies are clear, providing breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

    01

    Welcome to Delhi!

    Namaste! Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a warm and floral welcome. Your local guide will accompany you to the hotel, where you can freshen up and rest after your flight.

    In the late afternoon, there will be a briefing on the itinerary, followed by a welcome dinner where you will discover the delicious and spicy flavors of Indian cuisine.

    This is the perfect opportunity to get to know the group in a friendly atmosphere before your first night at the hotel.

    Delhi, Between Tradition and Modernity

    The day begins with an immersion in Old Delhi, exploring the bustling alleys of Chandni Chowk aboard a rickshaw.

    The scent of spices, the colorful fabric stalls, and the lively energy will immediately plunge you into India’s unique atmosphere.

    You will visit the majestic Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in the country, followed by a stop at Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Gandhi.

    The afternoon will be spent discovering New Delhi, with its grand boulevards and impressive buildings. You will admire India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, and the splendid Qutub Minar. The day will end beautifully with a visit to Akshardham Temple, a masterpiece of Hindu architecture. After this busy day, you will return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

    Off to Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital

    After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Rishikesh, a six-hour drive through ever-changing landscapes.

    A gourmet stop along the way will allow you to taste some local specialties before arriving in this spiritual city by the Ganges.

    Upon arrival, you will settle into the ashram, a peaceful retreat perfect for meditation and relaxation.

    In the evening, you will attend the famous Ganga Aarti, a magical ceremony where floating lamps illuminate the sacred river in a deeply spiritual atmosphere. You will spend the night at the ashram.

    Yoga, Meditation, and Wellness

    These three days will be entirely dedicated to well-being and self-reconnection. Each morning will start with a sunrise yoga session by the Ganges, awakening your body and mind gently.

    After a healthy and balanced breakfast, you will participate in workshops on breathing techniques, relaxation, and yoga philosophy.

    Afternoons will be free for you to wander through the streets of Rishikesh, explore the markets, sip chai in a local café, or simply enjoy the calm of the ashram. In the evenings, meditation and spiritual chants will close the day in a serene atmosphere.

    On the Way to Agra and Its Jewel

    After these few days of serenity, it will be time to head toward Agra, an eight-hour journey with stops to admire the rural landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening to explore local cuisine.

    Taj Mahal and Dream Palaces

    Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Taj Mahal. This magical moment, where the first rays of sunlight caress the white marble, is an unforgettable experience.

    After this breathtaking visit, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to Agra Fort, a majestic fortress overlooking the Yamuna River.

    The afternoon will be dedicated to meeting local artisans and discovering their expertise in carpet weaving, jewelry making, and marble inlay work. The day will end at the hotel for a restful night.

    Heading to Jaipur, the Pink City!

    After breakfast, you will travel to Jaipur, the famous pink city of Rajasthan.

    Upon arrival, you will settle into your hotel before visiting the stunning Birla Mandir, a brilliant white marble temple that exudes tranquility. The evening will be free for you to explore the surroundings at your own pace.

    Jaipur, Between Fortresses and Palaces

    This day will be dedicated to the wonders of Jaipur.

    The morning will begin with a visit to Amber Fort, a magnificent palace perched on a hill that you will reach on an elephant ride. Next, you will discover the impressive Jantar Mantar, one of the world’s largest astronomical observatories.

    The afternoon will be spent exploring the City Palace, a grand royal complex housing museums and lush gardens.

    You will finish the day with a stop at Hawa Mahal, the iconic Palace of Winds, before enjoying some shopping in the local markets, where you can try your hand at block printing, an ancient textile printing technique.

    Return to Delhi and a Final Evening in India

    After breakfast, you will return to Delhi. Once there, you will have free time to do some last-minute shopping and stroll through the bustling markets of the capital.

    Departure, Leaving with Unforgettable Memories

    Depending on your flight schedule, a transfer will take you to the airport for your return journey. After twelve days of adventure and discovery, you will leave with lasting memories and, who knows, perhaps the desire to return and explore even more of this fascinating country.
